  Peru´s southern Andes, including the world´s highest navigable lake (Titicaca at 4000 m.a.s.l.) and almost an infinity of ruins, historical sites and living traditions. The lake is a source of life: its islands are home to ancient communities who welcome visitors to stay in their homes.

  Lake Titicaca, covering eight thousand square kilometres, is the highest on earth. Its banks and islands have been home since time immemorial to communities of farmers and cattle breeders from the Quechua and Aymara ethnic groups. Great weavers and fishermen, men and women accustomed to the hard highland conditions welcome us into their homes. Anapia and Llachon are lakeside communities where you can stay and discover their people. The island of Suasi, close to the communities of Conima and Rosaspata is thought of as one of the most beautiful places in South America.
